Australian Capital Territory (ACT)
The Australian Capital Territory is home to Canberra, the capital of Australia and is often referred to as the ‘Nation’s Capital’ or the ‘Bush Capital’. You will find the Australian Capital Territory in New South Wales. It is the only completely land-locked Australian state or territory. The ACT was founded 12 March 1913 and is home to Australia’s Parliament. So when you visit the ACT, you will definitely want to visit Parliament House standing high on Capital Hill. But there is plenty more to see and do when visiting the ACT, check out some of the posts following.
